The Middle Segment begins east of IH 35E near the crossing of the Elm Fork of the Trinity River and Huffines Boulevard. It extends to the east to the junction with SH 121 Business in The Colony. Currently this section has three lane frontage roads in each direction. The improvement project in this section includes construction of the 6 main lanes (3-lanes each direction) within the existing SH 121 right-of-way. Interchanges will be completed at Hebron Parkway, Carrollton Parkway, FM 2281 and FM 544. |
